Quotes and Pricing
- Free Quotes: We provide free quotes for all services. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
- Fixed Pricing: Most jobs are quoted on a fixed-price basis. Any additional work beyond the scope of the agreed quote will require approval and may incur additional costs.
- Emergency Call-Outs: Emergency services are charged as outlined on our Charges page.
- Materials: Materials required for the job will be charged at cost. If additional materials are needed during the job, we will notify you and seek approval before purchase.
Payments
- Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit cards, and bank transfers.
- Receipts will be provided upon payment completion.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of £15.
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling can be arranged at no additional charge with adequate notice (minimum 24 hours).
Guarantee
- All work carried out by Glasgow Handyman Solutions comes with an unconditional 12-month guarantee against workmanship defects.
- The guarantee does not cover materials or issues arising from misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
Liability
- Glasgow Handyman Solutions shall not be held responsible for any pre-existing damage or defects in the property.
- Liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for the service.
- Customers must provide a safe working environment and ensure that necessary permissions are in place for the work to be undertaken.
Customer Obligations
- Ensure access to the property at the agreed time.
- Provide accurate details regarding the scope of work required.
- Promptly notify us of any changes to the agreed work or schedule.
Privacy
- Customer information is collected solely for the purpose of providing services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
